How do we teach?

Positive reinforcement

Positive reinforcement occurs when a certain behavior results in a positive outcome, making the behavior likely to be repeated in the future. This behavioral psychology concept can be used to teach and strengthen behaviors. Desired behaviors to replace problem behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, and property destruction.

Learn through play

Play makes therapy possible because it provides a fun, safe, and natural learning environment to cultivate communication. During play interactions, the child's attention is already focused on the activity, which makes it an ideal time to introduce new skills or prompts. For example, if a child is playing with blocks, a therapist can use the blocks to teach them new vocabulary words or practice counting.

Independence

We will make individualized programs to help your kiddos increase their self-care and communication skills while decreasing problem behaviors.

Grow their confidence

Each therapy session allows your child to embrace a new challenge. Hands-on learning makes your child more likely to remain engaged and build upon their creative problem-solving skills.

Activities you can work on together

While our programs encourage your little ones to become better independent learners, we’ve also included special opportunities for you to work together.

We will provide you the support and training you need
